Bagatelles
Bagatelles was written for Akihiko Ito, who was a graduate student at the University of Tokyo at the time. He was planning a recital of my euphonium works, and so I decided to write a work that he could premier at his recital.
Bagatelles is in three movements. The outer ones are lively, and the middle one is like a blues.
