Brass Trio No. 2
This brass trio is a set of five short movements in contrasting moods. The first, Intrada, is based on a fanfare-like melody. The Romanza which follows is in a relaxed triple meter, a "grazioso". The third movement is a rapid Danza. The fourth in a Pastorale in a relaxed 9/8 meter. The Finale is marked "energico" and brings the trio to a lively conclusion.
